Another Bee but this one is Bonkers about Conkers!

Thank you all very much for your wonderful stars and comments on our bee shot yesterday.

The World Conker Championship was held at the tiny village of Southwick in Northamptonshire today. The ladies World Champion, who was a Northamptonshire beekeeper was swarmed by press photographers, BBC TV reporter, local radio and at least two Blippers! So it was difficult to get a good shot.
A great fun day! Competitors came from Mexico, America and Canada without crash hats, goggles or gloves and they all enjoyed taking part. Next year the event will be 50 years old. There were three junior sections. The youngest World Champion being just 9 year old. More pictures on our blipfolio .
