Bettyhill Beach.
We headed north today, as far north as you can go to Bettyhill. this village is on the north coast of Sutherland looking over the Pentland Firth To the Orkney Isles.. There are many fione beaches up here and the scenery looking to the rocky cliffs and out to sea is spectacular!. On our way home through the Strath of Kildonan, I spotted seven Buzzards perched on the top of telephone poles and also a Hen Harrier, or as they are known up here as Sky Dancers. An interesting day all round.
