Cuckoo Trail

Another day of sunshine and heavy showers. In the afternoon we took a chance with the weather and had a walk along the old railway line called the Cuckoo Trail from Polegate to the Old Loom Mill and back again. We stopped on the way back for a cuppa at the Cuckoo Shack - a recently opened little tea room.

Along the route we saw this seat made from an axel from a railway wagon.

We spent the evening with our friends Andy & El, who cooked us a lovely meal. After we had eaten we played What's in The Bag - Girls v Boys and the girls won!
