Great excitement ...

well todays blip was to be ... brambles ... BUT ... having blipped the brambles I turned round and there it was ....
A GREEN WOODPECKER
I have never seen one before ... I was a bit gobsmacked as they say but I managed to take ten or so successive pictures not even knowing how good they would be ... so here is the one I considered the best of them ... sorry if the quality is not brilliant but I wanted to share the experience ...
