Bubbly Weather

The weather today has been rather nondescript. Grey skies, no rain but little sun either. Rather challenging for the day's word challenge of 'Weather'. The best I could do was eke out of Lightroom what little (very little) contrast there was in the sky and enhance the view with a glass of Bucks Fizz!

My brother and family have been visiting and we've had a great weekend. Last night we had a wonderful meal at a local restaurant cashing in a voucher that Debbie had won in one of those silly 'Heads and Tails' game at a Ball we went to in May. Thanks to some confusion on the part of the restaurant and the desire of the manager to rectify their errors, we ended up with a wonderful meal with very little cost to us.

This morning we had a large, late breakfast accompanied by glasses of Bucks Fizz, I was able to liven up a very dull weather image. The morning was fantastic and our guests left early afternoon.

Our son has also been home this weekend and I sent him back to uni with a couple of chocolate cakes and his laundry done!
