A Fahrenheit Life

National Wallace Monument

A horrible journey through rain, then snow, then ice, by-passing subsequent accidents and closed roads, to a conference at Stirling today. A mind-blowingly boring conference, it has to be said, and after all that effort as well. It appals me that the people who were presenting work in education and training.

Snuck along the corridors of the management centre at lunchtime to see if I could get any shots and this one, taken through a partly-opened window in another room, was all I could get without venturing outside to get drookit in the rain. The National Wallace Monument, standing tall and proud outside the city of Stirling, and overlooking the scene of Scotland's victory at The Battle of Stirling Bridge. Here's hoping that might be some inspiration for the lads in Rome on Saturday!
