Miss Mullin, Glenurquhart Primary School

Trying to look as fierce as possible, this is my eldest daughter Kirstine, who teaches at Glenurquhart Primary School in Drumnadrochit.

She is visiting during the October break, and is always full of chat about her school. She is a wonderfully committed and talented teacher, as is so evident from the many comments I have heard from locals over the years. What is more, on a couple of occasions I have joined her class to take part in "show and tell" sessions. Great fun.

I think she deserves a glass of wine this evening.
