The Langdales

My workshop with Lakeland Photographic Holidays is over, but I took the opportunity to take a very leisurely route through The Lakes southwards before hitting the M6 and home.

Lunchtime saw me in Elterwater enjoying a picnic overlooking the village. It was rather overcast, but suddenly the sun shone through lighting up the Langdales and trees in front. I was reminded of my first visit to LPH, in February 2012 when we visited the Blea Tarn a few miles away on a beautiful snowy day and I got a shot of the Langdales from a different view.
