Dinner Time

Poor Bud, he is still waiting for his dinner.

I carefully measured it out, placed it on the floor. Then said, as I always do.

"Sit, wait Bud"

I then had to dash into the kitchen as the potatoes were boiling over.

10 minutes later I popped into the utility room to get the peas out of the freezer and there he was still sitting and waiting for his dinner.

I just looked at him and said,
"Eat Bud."

Bud ate his dinner.

I hasten to add, this was a mistake, I don't usually get interrupted, he only has to wait a minute to 2 to allow Poppy time to eat hers. Otherwise Bud gulps his down then pushes her out of the way to finish off Poppy's dinner too.
