Shady spot

Greetings blipsters!

Normal service has not yet resumed following my unfortunate reaction to the anti-inflammatory drug I was taking for my back pain. It's a bit like the children's song "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.." with each remedy getting worse results!

Although I did actually get up out of bed today. Hurray! And ventured into the garden with my camera. I was inspired to take some shadow shots after looking at Arachne's wonderful images this week.

Instead I give you some dappled shade. Our aim in planting this tree is to have it grow high and wide enough to allow the Ards Man to build a circular seat around the trunk. Then we can sit there on warm, sunny days to read. And not mind the spiders rappelling down in front of our noses.

Just a few more years to go, I think.

For the tree, not my recovery. I hope!!
