Cows along the Roman Wall

We joined fellow blipper walkingMarj at the Haltwhistle Walking Festival today for a 12 mile walk from Linstock to Banks. Apart from a couple of short showers, the weather was beautiful along most of the route and we were treated to some fabulous views of the stunning Northumbrian countryside. The company was also great - a lovely bunch of super-friendly walkers, all keen to welcome newcomers to the group. I enjoyed the sight of this cow taking a paddle in the water, spotted along the way.
