Punting On The Mill Pond.

People are still enjoying punting on the river while the sunshine lasts. On the right is Darwin College which is not often open to the public, so I haven't been in there yet. The meadow across the river Cam is Laundress Green where, in days gone by, the college washerwomen would take the laundry to the river then lay it out on the grass to dry. These days cows graze there and you need to watch where you are stepping !
