The Bridge
I ran out of fags at about 4:30 this evening and so decided to give up smoking.
By 5:00 I decided to give up giving up smoking, and decided instead to walk to the supermarket rather than driving.
I picked up the camera and set off.
The area around our prestige office is totally artificial. It has been designed to provide a scene of immense interest - grassed areas, nice duckpond, nice fences, little faery glades and gullies and streams and bridges.
It was designed to be pleasing and the result is that it looks total crap; it has been sculpted by the hand of man and has been constrained by the imagination of man.
However, there is quite a neat little bridge that I always drive past, and my walk gave me the opportunity to look at it more closely.
This is a picture of one of the four things that seem to hold it up.
The bridge has lights in it too, so it might be a candidate for a blip when the nights draw in.
