Symmetry in the mausoleum

Samarkand is an amazing place, it is on the Silk Route and was intended to be a magnificent sight for the early traders. It is still spectacular for today's visitors. Many of the grand buildings including the mausoleum of Shah- i-Zinda has recently been renovated. I particularly liked this small section of the interior, the gold and blue together certainly shows off the previous wealth of the city. Much of the decoration in the mosques, palaces and mausoleum is symmetrical.

The blip of the day symmetry........

Going back over previous days, there were difficulties up loading photographs for blips, the city cannot keep up with the technology as it is developing so fast.
