Ruined in St Albans

That sounds somewhat dramatic doesn't it?!

In truth, husband, son, dog and I (daughter stayed in London for a sleepover - she's growing up fast!) went to visit friends in St Albans. They took us on a beautiful walk through the water meadows and river to the ruins of an old nunnery. It was really quite stunning, and made us all ruddy cheeked and ready for those drinks in the pub ;-)

Lovely night with old friends, who never fail to make me laugh.
