Bonfire

After a very busy day taking care of lots of chores with the uncle, I went to visit with the kids. The grandkids all had friends spending the night. My daughter-in-law's birthday was Thursday and the grandson's birthday is coming on Wednesday. My son had cooked a wonderful meal of roast pork, black beans and rice and after building this big bonfire s'mores were coming next and Hunger Games was on the TV.

They were trying to make this as festive as possible as events that should have all been happy, they had a huge sad one when their Bull Mastiff, Cocoa suddenly passed away. She's the one in the middle. Kody, our chocolate Lab on the right, was at the "rainbow bridge" to meet her, I'm sure.

RIP Cocoa, you are missed and so are you Kody!
