The "Salad Bar

Caught in the act! This morning there were only a couple of Gang Gangs feeding at the "Salad Bar: and this little fella was having an absolute feast. This is, I believe, the main reason we have seen so many Gang Gangs so early in the season. These seed pods must be absolutely delicious. This morning as I wandered around under the tree all I could hear was crunch, crunch, crunch. There was no avoiding the remnants of the recent feeding frenzy.

A huge surprise today. My big brother Allan46 made a spontaneous trip to the Blue Mountains for an overnight stay. It has been just fantastic for CCN and I to share a few hours with him and I've been learning a lot from my big bro about my new camera. Have to make the most of the short time I have him with me. Very soon he will be back home on the other side of the continent.
