Crewe boy - Bentley Boy?
Up at 6.00 to get to Lausanne for the Autumn rally of the local classic car club.
Could have had an extra hour in bed, normal Swiss timing wasn't at all accurate on this foggy, misty, wet day!
I was navigating for my friend James, his Bentley is the huge blue car 3 back in the middle row, unsurprisingly no top down motoring to-day.
In spite of the weather a good time was had by all doing 130 kms through the fabulous Jura mountain scenery, complete with autumn tints, tiny villages and lots of cows. Finished up for a late lunch at the Vue des Alpes restaurant...no Alps, visibility about 100 yards!
Hurried back to get to the Cine-Opera, Macbeth this time, a stunning production, complete with blood, murder and madness, as expected!
