Where's my Water?
I got a phone call from my friend who lives in Wellington this morning. She was in Christchurch for the weekend and wanted to know if I would like to meet up with them in New Regent St this afternoon for coffee.
I took a drive to Sydenham beforehand to catch up on the new buildings going up in the area. The day has been beautiful and sunny but, that cold wind seems to just keep blowing. It was great catching up with my friend and her family. We both grew up in Horotane Valley which is next to Heathcote Valley.. so go back a long way.
This photo is one of Hannah Kidd's sculptures and thought would make a interesitng blip for today.

“I’m investigating people and the relationships they have with their surrounding environment. Animals continue to feature heavily in my work and are frequently used as a vehicle to discuss the human condition.”
