Chilli and tomato relish!
Went to the NCT sake this morning, picked up a few bits and bobs for madam (who had an epic, 20 min screaming tantrum when I put her into the buggy...fun!) then came home and made chutney/relish!
Used the last of our homegrown ripe tomatoes and one of our chillis, added ginger, red onions, white wine vinegar and sugar, and here we have a yummy sweet relish. Found out how to sterilise the glass jars online too. Am going to try a recipe for green tomato relish next week, to use up all the green toms from the plants. Think I might even manage to make some Christmas gifts from it all!
