Crow and Chips

After my greedy day with friends, lunching, dinner and drinks yesterday, I felt like I needed a long walk and a bit of fresh(ish) air, so went back to Leigh-on-Sea again. I squelched and slipped through the mud on the path from Leigh over to Two Tree Island, where I got caught in the rain. The shower didn't last long though, so I walked back to Leigh and along to Southend and stayed to watch the sunset.

It always starts to look a bit sinister to me, once the sun goes down though and darkness falls, so I scampered off to catch the train home. The temperature dropped too...lucky I'd packed my bobble hat to place on my chilly head, to warm it up like a tea cosy!
