The conference dinner

The food was both brilliant and representative of this part of the world. It involved reindeer steaks, the strong local cheese, västerbottenost, fish roe, and the glorious cloudberry.
The music was not local, even if the musicians were but it was much appreciated.
The organisers also provided their own version of Village People’s YMCA, commenting on contemporary questions in higher education :-)
A great evening which will be hard to top at NU2016, two years from now, in southern Sweden.
