Change begins

Having shared a house for so long it feels odd to be able to make my own choices, right or wrong, about how my house should be. Finally today, nearly two years after the last flood, my hall started to be painted. Not 100% sure that the colour matches the match pot (it's greener but the painter likes it better) but it all feels much fresher. Once the pictures start to go up, and more of them, it really will start to feel like my house. In the Spring, the bathroom needs decorated but before that Floss is inspired to tackle the small loo. She came early today and is in a lovely mood, as is her sister. All is well in the world (except with someone who got their flight time wrong...oops, poor K).
