Old Bat

a bird in a tree

a sitting duck buzzard.

I went for a totter in the Dundas estate and saw little grebes - one with a smaller version of itself (not sure if they are called ducklings or chicks), a moorhen, coots and a teenage cygnet. A couple of swans flew in just as I was leaving. But most the exciting part was the 4 buzzards swooping around and calling. I kept trying to get a shot of any of them flying but they would keep moving and were really too high up across the loch for me to get the camera to focus. On my way out, this one was sitting in a tree - I've cropped the image as the tree was quite far away. As I got nearer, camera at the ready, the buzzard flew off.
