Passing Place

Caught this gorgeous view heading home after our amazing family reunion last night.

What an incredible evening - so wonderful to see everyone together, sharing photo's stories and documents that have been kept safe in drawers and attics for so many years. There was even an original copy of my great grandfather's birth certificate from 1880.

Huge credit to my inspiring cousin for organising us all - we'd talked about it for a long time but she made it all happen. The general consensus is it should be an annual event from now on - a fixed family point in the calender. Sounds good to me!
