Continuity in comings and goings

Many thanks to all who sent me good wishes on the 100th blip -- which I was not conscious of as it just crept up on me!
Today so far has been a day of two parts: one elderly parishioner died peacefully at home in the early hours; in the afternoon I baptised two babies.
One was wearing a baptism gown which was first worn by his great-grandmother at her baptism. Amazing that it's still intact. Nice to see the continuity and connection.
