The sun is out there
Had some fun at lunch today. I went down to the dock near my home and was taking some shots of the teeny blue sky over the bay and some seagulls.
RIght when I was about to leave a truck drove up, and a man got out with a big bowl. He proceeded to dump the bowl of "leftovers" on the sidewalk and then drove off.
The gulls went crazy! They were everywhere. I managed to get some shots, but they are mostly complete chaos. The one the kids like the best is where one of the seagulls is literally inhaling his food. It's crazy!
On my way home from work, I noticed more blue sky just peeking out above the stormy clouds. It was almost like we are trapped in this weird storm bubble, and the beautiful blue sky and fluffy white clouds were just beyond the bubble.
I stopped back at the same place as at lunch to see if I could get anything decent, and came upon my good friend pddesigns with her camera posed...and completely freezing. It WAS very cold out there for sure. You'd never believe that our day was filled with gray, dismal rain.
This is the last photo I took before heading toward home. As I drove up the hill, I was immediately faced with a lovely rainbow. I managed to catch a shot of it for my boys with my handy, little powershot.
Such a blippy day I had!
