End of Term!

Managed to get to work again today, although still not feeling quite right. Tried to get as up to date as possible, but my computer didn't agree and I ended up on the phone to IT. After work there was a retirement/ end of term party. I wasn't sure if I was up to it. My friend said that if I didn't go they would slag me off (sorry Canadian friends not sure if this is a term you use and if not I can't recall the Canadian equivalent, guess I've been in Britain too long!) all afternoon. To be fair they'd slag me off whether I was there or not but at least I could give as good as I got, so I dropped in for a few soft drinks. My friend was enjoy her drink with her interestingly coloured straw. We all commented that it looked like toothpaste. Glad it's half term and can relax next week!
