Stonehenge

On our way home after a few days away. I last visited Stonehenge with my father at least 15 years ago.... as we passed it at dusk on our way out I decided that we must stop on the way back. We were lucky with the weather - it was windy but beautifully sunny and warm. Since my first visit Stonehenge has a lovely new visitor centre with a very cool 360 film that puts you right inside the stones as the seasons pass and the site develops. There are also some small mud houses and a replica stone that D had fun trying to pull. Although there are lots of visitors it's still quite atmospheric - D wants to go back on one of the special occasions that they allow people into the stone circle..
