Sperm Candle

Another ad from the front page of the Edinburgh Evening Courant of September 2nd 1869, which hangs on the toilet wall at the Sheep Heid. So yes, I've blipped an ad for a sperm candle of "great hardness" from the toilet wall at our local pub. But hey - we won the pub quiz for the second week running (though I was only there for the last couple of rounds so can claim little credit).
