A New Neighbor!

We have new neighbors across the street who have moved from the country and had a small farm. Fortunately they have a large front yard so now we enjoy seeing a horse in the yard. He's a very nice and gentle fellow. Occasionally we'll see a goat that is penned in the back yard. Very interesting!!

I grew up (my very early years) on a mini farm and I do enjoy the animals. We didn't have a lot of money, but always had plenty of good meat from raising our own, and mom always put in a large garden and canned. To a kid, as long as you are well fed and loved, that's the most important thing.
