City Island - a long way from the city

A long, long training ride today to City Island which is a hidden oasis between the Bronx and Long Island. From Brooklyn it was around 6 hours round trip with the potholes keeping me on my toes. This shot is looking south west from City Island with a very faint Manhattan skyline on the horizon.
