Struggled home, laden with shopping, to find #2 busy in the kitchen. He'd been buying new bottles and jars, and was steeping garlic cloves in vodka. He tells me the plan is to leave them for about two months, and then use the liquid in marinades. Sounds serious, will probably smell even more so.
