Showers???

It really, really rained today!! I think we must have had all of September's rain in about 45 minutes around midday!
It rained so hard that a huge puddle formed outside our conservatory doors about 4 inches deep, and it had just reached the lip at the bottom of the doors when it finally stopped! poor Mr U&L, he had to go out in the pouring rain and start bailing out!
I, on the other hand had great fun standing under the porch and taking loads of shots of the leaves on the rose, hoping to get a good shot of the raindrops.
Sadly, I couldn't get any really clean shots, but I did quite like this one, as it gives some idea of how hard the rain was falling, and the bokeh is pleasing.
Maybe more hedgehog shots tomorrow, and with all this rain, maybe some decent fungi too
