Lunch time concert at the Halifax Town Football Ground with the Rock Choir. Supporting an awareness for World Mental HealthDay. Our choir followed a talk form a worthy gold medal winner in the Invictus Games. We sang songs that were really poignant and it was lovely to see the audience enjoy the performance.

Talking to people there it struck me that generally, as a race we are not equipped for this demanding techno age. All power to those who meditate, practice mindfulness, do yoga, breathe, have gadget free days and basically live in the moment. It certainly concentrated my mind to thinking how fortunate I am to have escaped being hit with the depression stick.
