Peaceful

This afternoon, a lovely walk in glorious weather, up the Lamlash Forestry Road and to the pond, where we sat for half an hour in companionable silence. There were no man-made sounds at all; only birdsong, the light wind , the rustle of bulrushes, the plash of the nearby waterfall; no machine noise, no vehicle noise, no voices, no radio, no Prestwick traffic.
