What's for tea Mum?

As I was chatting to our daughter yesterday, she said, what's for tea? She's coming to us today for tea and to meet up with both of our son's too. We all see each other often, but for our 3 children to see each other and us together is a bit more difficult with work and families. Our boys live 3 doors away from each other, but it's good to all get together. Our daughter loves it that the boys spoilt her as a child, she was the youngest and so as big brothers do they gave in to her, protected her, and always wanted us to give her the things that we couldn't afford to give them.
So today it's Chicken casserole, I sat down after lunch and pealed and chopped carrots, green beans, asparagus, tomatoes, tiny new potatoes even a few sprouts. Some luscious gravy and chicken breasts, put on a slow/medium oven and left it to cook. But I'm hungry now!!
And it's the weekend, enjoy your weekend ;0)
