I saw Three Ships ....

Not that I'm thinking about Christmas yet....

I chose to blip this little glass ship as it fitted well with the day's 'glass' challenge (just checking that I've got it right - that would be embarassing!) It is a very meaningful little momento just now as it was given to me by a very dear friend who is going through difficult times at the moment. I haven't seen her for ages as she doesn't feel able to face the world but think of her a lot.

The background to this....
On the 100th anniversary of the Titanic I put on a fancy dinner party. I researched the menu on board that fateful liner and put together as many of the dishes as was practical bearing in mind the 'galley staff' was considerably reduced! I think we ended up with 7 courses (there were originally 14!) and all wore full evening dress. We had a great evening but made sure we all sailed for home before the sinking hour of 2am. My dear friend and husband were 'on board' for that meal and gave me the little ship.

I have spent far too much time in Photoshop making it into The Three Ships sailing by! I'm sure it will be quicker when I actually know what I am doing!
