Lonely road

It was supposed to be pouring with rain today. I was supposed to be going on a photography day out with a friend. Due to circumstances beyond my control the day out had to be cancelled so I am on my own. I thought I could have a lie in and then use the chance to catch up with some work, making it easier to go on holiday.

I woke early, typical! The sun was glorious. For some reason I had the urge to go out on the bike so I did a 6 mile ride just after breakfast. Haven't achieved anything else this morning as my motivation ran out. The weather is still glorious!

Trying to persuade myself to get on with some work now but it would be easier if it was raining!
