Passing Trams
Sad to leave Pembrokeshire today after a wonderful holiday.
On the way home we stopped off at Aberystwyth and had a ride on the Cliff Railway. Brilliant. Never been on it before, and even with the day being very dull and windy it was a great experience - and with stunning views over the town. The Cliff Railway was opened in 1896 and goes from the beach to the top of Constitution Hill (430ft)
The journey home then turned into the journey from Hell. Multiple accidents on the M53, M56 and A49 turned a 6hr journey into a 10hr journey. All roads around the area were grid-locked - my Sat-Nav was doing cartwheels trying to find a way around them - along with me and Mrs MD peering at the Road Atlas as an additional aid.
Once back inside Maison MD we both had to take to drink to stabilise matters :-)
