Patrick .....

..... and the pig faced man.


The weather forecast was for rain all day today, so rather than having a day out I spent all day sorting out paperwork at home. Although it was fairly overcast for most of the day, it didn't rain until I left the house in the evening.

After a long day at home it was good to get out for a bit of culture. My neighbour Patrick is a member of a local writing group and they were reading short stories around the theme of Ilkley and it's moor, as part of the Ilkley literature fringe festival. The venue was the local playhouse and I headed down with fellow neighbour Mr M, it looks like there were a lot of friends and family there as most of the seats were filled.

I was impressed by the quality of the writing and how well the 10 people reading their work did, there was also a bar at the playhouse ( bonus ). Patrick's piece was called the pig face man, so today's blip is .....
