Derelict Red Truck

This is my entry for "Derelict Thursday" hosted by An Avid Lensman. We had an opportunity to walk around the harbor again this afternoon while waiting for our daughter's appointment to end. I have to say that though it is a working harbor and there are some rough looking boats and equipment, there is very little that looks derelict. I think our harbor and the port are very good at making sure nobody leaves old boats and equipment to rot anywhere in the harbor. This truck has been sitting in one of the huge lots for some time. The nets on its bed seem to be in pretty good shape but a close look at the license on the front of the truck reveals that it hasn't been licensed since 2002. That qualifies! It is not in active use, at least not legally. And it does look like it would have a bit of a problem trying to move. It is well wedged in and may not run at all. A closer look reveals its decaying and ancient state more fully.
