Grangemouth

Grangemouth is always good for a picture - more so at night, and even more when the big flare is going.

This is a three-image HDR, looking north across the plant towards Fife (the streetlights of Low and High Valleyfield can be seen in the distance). I like the way that the HDR picture gives an apocalyptic air to the steam coming from the plant, and the bright colours at the left of the picture. I'm not so keen on the noise in the sky at the top left, but that's life...
