Burra Bears

This week is Shetland Wook Week where people come to Shetland from all over the world to take part in knitting, spinning etc etc worshops and where many various shops, workshops, exhibitions are open to the public. Today our daughter and me visited Burra Bears http://www.burrabears.co.uk/ where these bears are made out of all sorts of knitwear. The business started with one bear made for a friend and the business naturally grew from there through word of mouth.

A few blips ago I posted a picture of one made in memory of my Dad which was made out of one of his old jumpers.

Each bear is unique with its own name and certificate.
