Jacarandas

I had a couple of meetings in Pretoria today but didn't expect the Jacarandas to already be in all their glory.

The centre of the city is in a mess as they are putting in new drainage and resurfacing roads but the mass of lilac and purple flowers made it a bit easier to be stuck in traffic.

Just back from having some pretty splendid Portuguese food with T. A full tummy after a hot day, I think I will go for a wee dip in the pool to settle it all down.
