Earth and sky

I can almost pick out a few crepuscular rays in the sunset this evening. I haven't been out of the house for 3 days, obediently following the directions of my GP to remain immobile for that long. So I opened the biggest window - a dormer in the room above our garage - to see what I could blip.

The window is still open and the cool breeze is lovely. It smells of rain and earth and green things. I can hear the traffic from the road about a mile away, but that is almost drowned out by birdsong.

I'm feeling a lot better. Well enough to venture to school tomorrow, even though I can't quite bend in the middle enough to allow me to sit down!

Chairs are overrated anyway. :)
