another era?

I wonder how many folk would know what haberdashery is? I took this shot today because I had never seen this signage before despite passing Jenners windows thousands of times! I love the word, conjures up a magical mix of fabric, colour and inventiveness...must go and look up its derivation.

Well no bike today as we woke to yet another winter wonderland....but managed a walk nonetheless, I took the train to Drem and walked to Dirleton to meet some other hardy and thwarted cyclists for lunch and a blether. Worth doing for the fresh air and the field of curlews and the snowdrops of East Lothian.
