Experimental tarte tartin

Never made one before but thought I would try today and have been amazed that it turned out so well. Tasted good too. Admit I cheated a little and put marzipan on to apples before adding pastry. Seems to have worked though as French neighbours thought it tasted good!! That's praise in itself.
