Walking through Dalmeny Estate, we suddenly caught sight of the distant prospect of Newhaven, the distinctive shapes of the Platinum Point flats contrasting with the stubble fields that in themselves contrast with the city that roars past not far from here on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
