Nice cup of tea

I have earned this lovely brew!
A long day. I've been given keys to the school so that I can stay late and get stuff done - so today was 8am till 7pm. It seems like a lot of time but jeeeez there is SO much to do!! Still got loads of planning to finish but I've marked 90 books and 30 homework folders, sorted next weeks homework task (differentiated 3 ways) organised the resources for thurs and fri literacy lessons, had a parent meeting, phoned another parent, returned a load of borrowed stuff to around the school, and had a quick tidy around and written up a few pages of notes about what had occurred over the past 3 days for the other teacher. All of that after 3.15.
Home and straight into the melee of bedtime and dinner!
Someone has a mixture of a cold and teething at the moment so lots of grumpy drooling going on! Was nice to see her for a quick cuddle and song before bedtime :-)
